Hawaiian Haystakes

Updated Oct. 17th 2013

Quick easy meal that anyone can love

Ingredients I used:

Pineapple

Mandarin oranges

Celery

Carrots

Olives

Almonds

Cheese

Grapes

Coconut

Celery

Tomatoes

Canned chicken (or if you prefer fresh you can just boil it and shred it).

Chow Mein Noodles (la Choy is good)

Cream of chicken

Rice

Sour cream

Chicken broth

Can use:

Pretty much anything your heart desires. If you think it tastes good go for it

Let me know if there is anything I need to add to mine.

However many you are making this for its easy to modify. If it’s for one then I’d just buy celery stalks and not the whole bundle.

 1 can of pineapple

 1 can of mandarin oranges

1 can chicken or one chicken breast

1 can cream of chicken

1/2 cup sour cream

7 oz chicken broth

Combine soup, broth, chicken chunks, and sour cream in large pot bring to a boil. Separating chicken chunks as stirring..
Cook over meadium heat. Pour into a bowl and set next to rice.
Set all other ingredients out in bowls. Then put your own haystacks together!

There are two ways to cook your rice. you can put it in a rice cooker or you can put it on the stove. In the rice cooker you just put the water and rice in there and done. On the stove you boil the water then add your rice turn the heat to meadium low and let it cook for 20-25 minutes.(one cup needs 2 cups of water)

If you are making this for more just add as much as you'd like there really aren’t any right or wrongs in this recipe!!

I doubled my sauce recipe so that's why I have 2 cans chicken 2 can cream of chicken a whole can of chicken broth and 1 cup sour cream.
(it would serve about 5 people easily!)

I cut the celery, olives and tomatoes.
I forgot to set out the tomatoes, carrots and cheese for the picture sorry!

Before the sauce...

After the sauce! So delicious!!
I hope y'all enjoy!!
